In response to the recent attacks on ships by Houthi rebels in the Red Sea, the United States has announced a joint alliance of 10 nations against Houthi aggression. According to international media reports, this alliance includes the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, France, Italy, Spain, Norway, the Netherlands, Bahrain, and the Seychelles.

During a visit to Israel, the U.S. Secretary of Defense declared the formation of the International Maritime Time Union to counter Houthi attacks, emphasizing the dangerous nature of these assaults and the violation of international laws. The Secretary of Defense also urged vigilance in ceasing support from Iran to the Houthi rebels and reiterated unwavering American support for Israel.

Houthi rebels have conducted further attacks on two additional vessels, causing delays in the arrival of oil-laden ships through the Red Sea route. Following Danish, German, and French companies, British, Norwegian, and Taiwanese companies have also suspended the entry of oil-carrying vessels through the Red Sea.

It is noteworthy that earlier, Houthi rebels had seized a maritime vessel belonging to an Israeli trader in the Red Sea. Subsequently, allegations of attacks on several other vessels were made by the rebels.
