Latest Technology: Intelligent Clothing Powered by Solar Energy

Beijing: Chinese scientists have introduced a groundbreaking invention using solar energy, creating intelligent clothing that functions as a personal air conditioner.

Researchers at Nankai University have combined solar cells with electric components in the fabric to produce garments that can regulate the body’s temperature according to environmental conditions.

While traditional clothing aims to keep people comfortable amidst seasonal changes, this new invention presents a fresh perspective. Intelligent fabrics provide optimal protection in various environments.

According to studies, this system maintains the external temperature within moderate ranges, typically between 12.5 and 37.6 degrees Celsius. These fabrics can operate for up to 24 hours, utilizing sunlight for 12 hours, making them self-sustainable.

Scientists suggest that this technology could open avenues for the development of self-sustaining thermal management systems, helping individuals adapt to challenging environmental conditions and ensuring they remain in the best possible conditions.
